Under the Anti Maastricht Alliance banner we have recently started a small EU-sceptic group based in the Newark area. The first meeting was held at the address below on 5 Sept 1998. However we have made many contacts across a much wider area, and at the recent meeting in Derby on Economic and Monetary Union we were encouraged to expand county wide. Having received some information from the organisers of the very successful Herefordshire "Save the £ Campaign" we hope to set up a "Nottinghamshire Save the Pound Campaign".

If you wish to support this initiative please indicate on the form below. Plans to launch this action will be discussed at our next meeting in Cromwell Village Hall on 31 October at 7.30 p.m. (Cromwell is just north of Newark on the Al and the village hall is next to St. Giles church). It would be most helpful and encouraging if you could attend. Of course if this idea gathers momentum future meetings will be arranged at a less remote location!
